Spilling the Tea (Part 1)

Hi family! With the excitement of our Be Well Shop Launch literally happening in a matter of hours. I wanted to share a introductory blog about tea. No matter if you are a novice tea drinker or a connoisseur this blog is a great intro or refresher.
Tea is one of the most-loved beverages in the world. People drink tea for so many reasons. Whether they want to start their morning with a sweet and hot tea or enjoy a warm afternoon by drinking iced tea with friends, tea is here to bring its unique taste and enticing aroma to make our lives more colorful.
Tea is a drink commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over dried leaves of a variety of plants and fruits.
It is the second most popular drink to water. It is consumed by more than 2 billion people around the world!

Tea has many health benefits and can be used as a preventive medicine to treat various diseases including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and depression. Tea is popular among many cultures. It has a cooling quality and has been used for centuries as an herbal medicine.
To put it plain and simply, there’s a lot we still don’t know about the mechanisms behind the positive effects of drinking tea, but we do know that they’re there!
Because all teas possess impressive healing characteristics, they are a wonderful means for supporting ongoing health and preventing disease in our day-to-day. What this means is that the healthiest tea is likely just the one you’re willing to drink the most of — and if that’s not something to cheers a steaming cup of tea about, then I don’t know what is!
